1. Prepare a compatible client

Use a clean Global MapleStory v83 client that you are legally authorized to use. MapleTime does not host or distribute Nexon client executables, DLLs, binary WZ files, music, or artwork.

2. Verify your files

Keep a clean backup before changing any configuration. The repository includes checksum tooling for operators but is not a client download.

3. Create your account

Use the player portal to reserve your account name and verify your email. MapleTime queues the request to a private worker. The website never receives database credentials. First-login automatic registration is also available.

4. Set the server address

Copy the server address shown at the end of this guide into the client’s config.ini:

ServerIP_Address=<MAPLETIME_SERVER_ADDRESS>

Do not change the login or channel ports unless a migration is announced.

Sign in with the exact account name and password you created in the portal.

Never reuse a password from email, banking, work, or another game. Staff will never ask you to send your password.

When the world is offline

The website stays up when the game world is resting or under maintenance. Check the live status before troubleshooting your client, and watch the news page for planned work.
